2026 Rest Carnival
August 22, 2026 | Lexington, KY
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this gathering such a beautiful celebration of community. Your presence, participation, creativity, and willingness to connect brought the spirit of the event to life. We are grateful to everyone who took time to rest, reflect, and share space with us.
Our community came together for a day centered on rest, wellness, connection, culture, and joy. Through an inspiring speaker, interactive activities, games, communal rest experiences, and creative exhibitions, attendees had opportunities to connect with one another, express themselves, learn, play, and take a moment to recharge.
The event was created to make space to reflect on the importance of rest in caring for ourselves and one another, while recognizing that individual well-being and community health are deeply connected. From laughter and creativity to conversation and shared experiences, the day highlighted the many ways we can cultivate belonging, restoration, and joy in our everyday lives.
Most importantly, the gathering reminded us that wellness is not something we experience alone. It grows through relationships, cultural connection, creativity, mutual care, and opportunities to come together. We hope everyone left with a renewed appreciation for the people and experiences that make our community vibrant, resilient, and connected.
A special thank you to all of our event collaborators and community partners whose time, generosity, and support helped make this gathering possible. Your commitment to creating spaces for restoration made a meaningful difference.
Thank you for being part of this celebration and for helping us create a space where rest, wellness, and connection could be shared by all.
